THE TRUTH ABOUT AGENTS, MANAGERS AND LAWYERS
A 10-week UCLA class taught by Allen Fischer, manager of actor Ed Helms (THE HANGOVER), screenwriters Ashley Miller & Zack Stentz (THOR, X-MEN: FIRST CLASS), and director Dan Attias (HOUSE, HUNG, LOST).
In this comprehensive course, you will not only learn how the representative/client relationship functions after signing, you'll also get a leg up by coming to understand the current economic landscape and how representatives are adjusting to it. We'll break down the various players in town (literary agents, television agents, talent agents, managers, lawyers, studio execs, producers), and guest speakers from both sides of the representative/client partnership will provide first-hand accounts of the inner workings of the business. In short, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at the dynamics of the entertainment industry through the eyes of the people that have your career in their hands.
